The Face of Nossa Samba

Nossa Samba is a Brazilian style bossa nova band in Huntsville, AL, created and founded by guitarist Stan Lee in 2019, and comprised of several renowned local Huntsville artists. The band currently includes Bob Hawkins, bass, Pete Harrison, piano, Tom Branch, drums, Steve Motz, tenor saxophone, Jeff Caroll, trombone, and Stan Lee. 

With American born flautist/vocalist, Sharla Bell, the group has taken over the Latin jazz scene in Huntsville, AL with a mission to bring authenticity and excellence to the Portuguese native community with classics like Garota De Ipanema, Dindi, as well as their own original bossa nova inspired compositions. In 2025 the band released their first debut album, Nossa Samba Americana, and plans for a second album release featuring all originals, in the works now!
