Sharla is a classically trained mezzo-soprano, versed in opera, bel canto arias, German lieders, American folksong, and jazz. She studied music at The Los Angeles County High School of Arts where she earned her diploma, and also graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a BA in Music.  Sharla also studied dance, Broadway, film and theatre at The American Music and Dramatic Academy. She is represented by
